This dance index has been created for Scottish Country Dancers the world round. This covers ONLY Scottish country dances that are published on the World Wide Web and that I know about. The dance instructions accessed through this index are made available by a number of sites around the world.

Each site is solely responsible for the material it presents. It is strongly recommended that no site knowingly present any material for which permission has not been obtained from the copyright owners.

Technical caveat: The Searcher/Sorter does not work for everyone. It uses Frames and JavaScript and a data-reading Java applet. If your browser does not support these features or if you are behind a firewall that defeats the function of the applet, you can use the static index pages, which unfortunately do not support searching. You can also download the index to circumvent firewall problems
